How can I order from this website?
It's really very simple. There isn't a special page or form just for ordering items. The site is designed so that you can browse items and order as you browse.
Just click on the Products link on the navigation bar above. This will show you a listing of product categories. Choose the category you want then you will get a page with products in that category. Now simply click on the item you want to view. When the item is displayed it will show you pictures, description, etc. Some items have video, audio, or special instructions, even samples from books. On that page there will be an add to order button if the item is in stock (if not it will indicate that the item is not currently available), just enter the quantity you want and click Add to Order. The next page you see will be a listing of the items on your order with the option to continue shopping or to finish the order by entering your mailing, shipping, and payment information on the pages that follow after you click the finish order button.

Now a little about what happens when your order is submitted.
The first thing that happens if your order was successfully submitted is our website sends you an automated email indicating that your order was received. If you don't receive this email either your order did not go through or your email address wasn't correct and therefore we couldn't reach you.
The next thing that happens is that your order is placed in a list of pending web orders. These orders are waiting to be reviewed by our personnel and then entered as an order into our order processing system. They visually look at every order to make sure that everything is acceptable and looks OK, this happens at least once a day, Monday through Friday. If it cannot be processed we will contact you and try to resolve the problem. If it can be processed it is entered into our order processing system and an automated email is sent out to you indicating that your order is ready to be processed. When we say processed basically that means that your card will be authorized with the next batch of orders and then it will be printed out in the shipping department, all the items picked, packed, and boxed, then shipped out.
Currently we don't send out an email after your order ships. However after your order ships if you had it sent by UPS you can track it through our website by clicking on the Order Tracking link on the navigation bar above, and you will need to enter the order number that you received on your second confirmation email. Package tracking information is updated by around 5:00pm CST Monday-Friday for packages that went out that day. So if your package was shipped on a given day, let's say Wednesday, you will be able to track it sometime after 5:00pm CST on that day.
How long does it take to receive an order shipped by UPS Ground?

Many factors can affect when your order will leave our building. Usually orders are sent out within a day or two of receiving the order (if all items were available), but this is not always the case. Once your order is shipped by UPS you can track it at our Order Tracking page. Your order won't show up on this tracking page until it has been shipped, and only orders shipped via UPS can be tracked. It will work for any order that you have placed with us whether by web, phone, fax, or mail.
Can you put a name on the rebound Bibles?
Sorry, but we do not. At one time we did gold stamp personalized names on rebound Bibles. However, due to a much more than average return rate, mistakes, mis-communication, etc. we had to discontinue this. Unlike other unpersonalized products that get returned, once a Bible has a name stamped on it that the customer is unsatisfied with, it cannot be repackaged and resold, resulting in a loss of the cost of the entire rebound Bible to us, and a waste of a perfectly good Bible, Reasoning, Song Book, etc. If there is a leather shop in your area, sometimes they can stamp personalized names on Bibles for you. We recommend that you first feel confident about the shop that you choose, to do a good job and watch them closely to ensure that they get your name on the Bible correctly.
Why doesn't Stoops Manufacturing Company sell products on online auction sites such as Ebay?
We prefer to maintain control over the way in which our items are presented on the web and in print. We do not not delegate that responsibility to anyone else. This helps to minimize confusion as to whether we actually offer a particular item or not; if it's not in our catalog, on our website, or on a flyer that we sent out then we haven't offered that item. Quite often some have mistakenly thought that we had items listed on sites such as ebay and these were items that we feel would be inappropriate for our company to offer. We make every effort not to offer items that would be of that sort. Unfortunately on many of these public auction sites apostates have sought to use the opportunity to mislead the unwary by having their items listed side-by-side with items relating to Jehovah's Witnesses. We would rather not have our items listed side-by-side with undesirable items. We realize that we may be losing sales because of our choice, but increasing sales and other business interests are not of prime concern to us in this matter.
In answering this question we do not seek to imply that our decision is the only right one. We have conscientiously made our own decision and respect the right of others to make their own choices.
I had several items on my order and when I added another item I was sent to the main front page and all my items were gone from my order. Why?
One of two things occured. First there is a 20 minute limit on idle sessions. If you left your computer or didn't do anything on our site for more than 20 minutes, your session is automatically terminated. This helps keep our server from becoming bogged down with possibly thousands of idle sessions. The second possibity is that we were performing maintainence on our servers. From time to time we must make updates and other processes to keep our servers running smoothly. Unfortunately we can't always do these things when there is no one connected to our web server. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

Yes, Carl and Betha, founders of Stoops Manufacturing Company, and present owners, are Jehovah's Witnesses. Many others that work here are also.
Is your website secure?
All information about your order sent to us is encrypted using the latest SSL technology. Information about you and your order is not stored on our website. It is transferred to our internal servers which are not accessible from the internet, and are only accessible by authorized persons.
Why can't I change my order after it has been placed?
Since your personal and order information cannot be accessed from our website through the internet for security reasons, once an order is placed it cannot be changed.
Why are certain items available in your catalog, but not on your website?
Some items require special processing (such as personalized no blood keytags, ring bound study books, etc.). Therefore these items must be ordered by following the instructions in the catalog for that particular item and then mailing your order with payment to us.
